Visitors

 On Thursday May 7th, Megan was in town to visit her sister in law and they graciously allowed me to tag along. Aside from the occasional family parties, or weddings, or baby showers, I haven't really spent time with Megan for like 6 years or so.  All it took was a move to Texas, a move to Chicago, to make it happen. I'm so glad it did though! Wednesday was especially lonely and then Megan called inviting me to the zoo with her and Jenae. We had such a great afternoon. Baby Paxton is adorable and Jenae is delightful.

 After the zoo everyone was ready to take naps. We all met at 11:30, had a picnic and then enjoyed the zoo, so by the time we were done it was 2:30. On the walk back to the car, Kelsey and I stopped at the Lincoln Zoo park which has statues of animals all around it. Super cute. A lot of them were in the sun and were too hot to play on, but the cougars of all things were perfect!

 In hynesight, stopping at the park was a huge mistake especially when we already missed nap time. We stopped for about 20 minutes, and then when it was time to go, Kelsey screamed the whole way back to the car and the whole way home. I mean SCREAMED!!! Legs kicking, arms flailing, hitting yourself, throwing everything in sight, pulling your hair screaming. It was so embarrassing, but I had no choice but to press on. We finally made it to the car where the tantrum didn't improve, but don't worry. She took a 10 minute nap when we got home, so the rest of the day was great. I'm being completely sarcastic by the way. No toddler should only sleep for 10 minutes. It was really fun to see Megan though. I love living in a place that people want to visit. I mean Provo? No one visits Provo.
