We Moved

April 26th, we were all boxed up and ready to go, I looked out the window and saw the biggest rain storm Provo's seen all month. Obviously I started to cry, said a quick prayer pleading that no one would fall out of the truck and die, and then we got to work.
With the help of 11 additional people, we were able to successfully move out of our 3rd Provo apartment in record time. We dropped Kelsey off at the Apkers at 8 and at 8:30 everyone showed up to help us load the truck. By 9:15, yes 9:15!!! we were ready to go to the storage unit. It blew my mind. I have never had a move go so smoothly and so quickly. Granted half of our stuff made it to the dumpster before people came and half of our stuff is still sitting in the Smith's basement (THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES!!!) but still. Oh and we don't own any big furniture, but again, the point is is that it went super fast.
While I was cleaning the apartment, Ethan came back at 10:00 announcing they were completely done. We cleaned, took care of paper work, ate breakfast at Village Inn, picked up Kelsey and were on our way!

I am so grateful for great friends who are willing to help us no matter what the circumstances (did I mention the WHOLE move it was pouring buckets? BUCKETS!!!! and no one fell out of the truck. Our stuff, well, no one got hurt)

While we packed April 24th day happened. Here is the result:
(every April 24th we take a picture no matter where we are or what we are doing. It has happened for 3 years now. It is just a goofy "holiday" we made up  just to compared how we look and where we live EXACTLY one year apart from each other.)
We have been living with Gramma and Granpa Wing and it has been wonderful! We have three weeks of our last "summer vacation" ever. No school, no job, no routine, no callings, no obligation, no cooking, no anything for three weeks. It is as wonderful as it sounds.

We are making the most of our time while we are here and try to do as much as we can as a family. There is a lot of park attending, a lot of walks, and a lot of dates after Kelsey goes to sleep. I am so grateful that the Wings took us in. It is easy to be here. A perfect break right before the chaos of summer well and life.

Kelsey is definitely taking advantage of living with Gramma and Granpa. She loves it most of all.

We had to pack for four months of travel and it all had to fit in the trunk of our car. Suitcases took up too much space and so I present to you trash bags. Completely big enough and completely moldable. Look out Midwest... a whole lot of classy is coming your way!

She wears this hat everyday. She is going to be so sad when we don't take it to Cawgo
Taking advantage of 5 point park down the street
See-sawing with a toddler: another term for doing squats

Trying to soak up as much dad time as possible

We helped clean up Grandma Farnsworth's yard. We were outside working from 9-2, all the ingredients for a guaranteed nap in the car and instead this is what we got

These pictures make me happy sad because I love how much she is growing up but I hate how fast she's doing it. The face that she is making in the second picture is the exact face she used to make as a baby. You know when you pick up a new born mid stretch and they stay all curled up? Well when Kelsey did that she would make the face from picture two. I saw this picture and wanted to cry because my baby is so far from being a baby anymore.
