Logan

I've never been to Logan, so during our vacation here in Bountiful, it was one of the only things on the to do list. May 5th we made the drive up to Logan for a beautiful day.

First stop was the temple. It really is as beautiful as everyone said. I can kinda understand why people would drive all the way to Logan to get married there. It would make for gorgeous pictures.

The gates were actually supposed to be locked, but the gardeners were tending the beds and didn't care if we walked around so we were there all by ourselves. I tried to get Kelsey to smell the flowers, but obviously she picked the pedals and didn't look at the camera. Typical. Ethan played my game however so it was a win, win, win situation.

After the temple we went to the tabernacle, had a picnic, and walked around Logan's Main Street which was adorable.

She loved all the "cows" on Main Street

On Main Street is a little restaurant called the Blue Bird. Super cute! It was a mix between the ice cream shop in Its a Wonderful Life where George Bailey works as a kid and Disneyland Main Street. Really old fashioned, really cute, and really fun. Kelsey didn't mind sharing a sundae at 2 in the afternoon either!

I love this face! They had just put down the Sundae in front of Kels,
and Ethan was able to capture her undeniable excitement!
We kept trying to get a picture but she was much too occupied with the sundae.

After the Blue Bird and Main Street (well we went to Walmart to get a stroller because ours broke) we went to Utah State University to explore their campus (and to assemble said stroller). I haven't been on too many college campuses outside my own, so it was kinda weird being on Aggie turf. It is a beautiful campus and I told Ethan I would even be okay (90% okay) if our kids went to Utah State. It was weird however being on their campus and having no magic just pump through my veins. Its been 3 years since I graduated and yet ever time I step onto BYU's campus I just get that feeling you know?! That magic feeling. I can't explain so if you don't know what I mean, sorry.

You guys!! People are allowed to ride their bikes on campus! WHAAAAT?! They have a lane for it and everything. My mind was blowing. Also they had a coffee shop and a smoking section. I felt so confused and lost. I thought this was a college campus :)

He does this everywhere new we go. Grabs a map to let us know where we are, where we are going, and where we could be if only we kept walking. Okay I tease, but I seriously. It is adorable, but he does it EVERYWHERE.

This little vacation of ours has been wonderful and to top it off we are checking things off my Utah bucket list. Logan was a great way to spend a day.
