We picked up Hannah and Ethan from school at 4:30 and drove through the beautiful canyon up to Heber. It was such a warm evening. It felt more like the end of September instead of the end of October.
Once we all gathered, we ate dinner at Dairy Keen and then headed to the Heber Creeper train station.
Before we boarded the train there was a little "play" with horses and robbers. Unfortunately Kelsey got a little scared of the guns (thanks BYU) and so we spent most of the play in the gift shop playing with the toy trains. After the play we boarded the train for a ride through the canyon. It got dark during some of the ride so we couldn't see all the scenery but riding at night was fun too.
There was lots of signing and dancing from our section of the train and Kelsey and Harper quickly discovered that you could jump on the benches. I'm pretty certain that everyone had a great time.
The train got a little stuffy for my taste, so Holden and I went to the refreshment car for a lot of the ride where they had the sides of the train open to the evening air. While we were in the car Holden kept telling me "I won't judge." I had no idea what he was talking about and finally after like 5 times of him say this I asked him what he meant.
"I won't judge you if you buy refreshments for us to eat," was his reply! I laughed so hard!!! Oh Holden. You are a rock star. Seriously though I think hanging out with Holden was my highlight. I don't get a lot of one on one time with Holden and so it was fun to talk and joke with him.
Completely unrelated, lately when I tell Kelsey we are going on a walk she "gets ready" We never the leave for a walk without our purse, ears, shoes, and baby. Look out teenage years right!! This girl does love her accessories.
While I was shopping for our Halloween party this happened! WHAT!! I'll take it
Also Kels loves to dress herself but sometimes we forget the order of clothes. Don't worry Kelsey it happens to the best of us. At least its still cute when you wear your underwear on the outside of your pants. I just get weird looks.

hah. That girl is hilarious! the train looks so fun! I have always wanted to know what people thought about it!! Glad Kelsey loved it.
