Anyway, Ethan was on a pizza tour with the other interns (I know right!) and we met him after that. While we waited we hung around the Sear's tower gardens and found this really pretty kaleidoscope built above real flowers.

When Ethan got back, we decided to take a taxi over to the Hancock building. It was super expensive but it was on the list of things to try and now it has a big check mark by it.
The Hancock Observatory was BEAUTIFUL!!! We wanted to catch the sunset, but it comes to late now, that Kelsey wasn't having it. Ethan and I both agree that the Hancock observatory is prettier than the Sear's tower. I mean they are both cool and really high, but the Hancock is set back, away from the city more, so you can actually see the city. It was so stunning.
The coolest attraction in the Observatory was the "Tilt." It is a wall made of glass, you held on to the handles, and the wall tilted forward. TWICE!!!! It was super scary. You don't end perpendicular to the street, but any sort of tilt 1000 feet in the air, is pretty scary. I LOVED it.
That's no green screen!
This is the first tilt and I had to put my camera away for the second
After the Tilt, we just wandered around taking in the view.
Lake Michigan and Navy Pier
The view from the Magnificent Mile aka Michigan Ave
North and West Chicago
North of Chicago, where Lincoln Park is
On the way back to the bus we decided to stop at one of my "must dos" The Cupcake ATM!!!! Unfortunately it was out of service until July so it was kind of disappointing. You better believe we are going back!
Side note: On Friday June 6th I took a car, a bus, a train, a taxi, walked, and ran! I must be doing something right here in Chicago

You better go back to that cupcake atm!!!!!! :) Look at you getting all cultured :)
