Snow Day

On Saturday December 15, we had enough snow to build snowmen and we decided that it was time to show Kesley the snow. We had a great time and I think for the most part, if we kept the snow out of her face, Kelsey loved the snow. However she was not really a fan of her coat and warm gear. We put her in the snow and she fell over and then tried to roll over, and then started crying and we couldn't help but laugh. It reminded of us Ralphie's little brother on a Christmas Story. It was hilarious

Solids!!

We started food on December 5th and she loves it!

These are most of the babies Kesley's age in the ward! They will play like this for so long. Like 45 min
Kelsey also loves no one more than herself :)

A Quarter Century

Yesterday was my birthday and I turned 25! I love my birthday and this year did not disappoint.
In the morning, Ethan stayed home from basketball so that I could go on a run WITHOUT the stroller. I never realized how easy running up hills was when you do not have to push 30 lbs!In the afternoon all my ward buddies came over and they brought their kids. There were about 7 babies all within 2 months of each other. We threw dominoes in the middle of the floor and sat them all around them. They all just talked and laughed at each other while they shared dominoes. It was so cute. That night Ethan and I went out to Red Robin while my friend watched Kelsey and then we had cake and presents. It was a great day. I received so many nice cards, calls, and texts from friends and family. I do have to say though, that I do not feel any olde, but when I say 25 it kinda scares me how that sounds! Over a great day and now we are that much closer to Christmas!

Nephi

Ethan was asked to play Nephi in the ward primary activity. It was hilarious. The whole room had people dressed as Book of Mormon characters, the middle had Lehi's tent where breakfast was served, Samuel the Laminate was in one corner, Captain Moroni, Mormon abridging the plates, and then Nephi shooting his bow. I obviously thought Nephi was the cutest and so I got a lot of pictures of Nephi.

December

So far December has been everything that we would have wanted it to be. Cookie parties, Christmas movies, a little bit of snow (could do with some more) a tree festival, gift shopping and Christmas decorating. It is only the 11th, but it has been great so far! Slow down December!  You're going too fast!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving was a major success!! On Wednesday night we went to the BYU game which was really really fun, but the best part was after the game. They were letting people onto the court to take pictures with Cosmo and then we just started walking around the court taking all sorts of pictures. It was so much fun and literally made Ethan's year. You should ask him about the magic he felt while he was down there! Afterwards we went to In and Out which is only the second time we have been in 3 years and so it really hit the spot.
On Thursday I ran in the cottonwood turkey trot and got 4th with a time of 22:11!! I was so proud. It was the best feeling to run competitively again. Take that pregnancy!
We got home, got ready, made food, and headed to the Nelson's for Thanksgiving dinner. After a delicious meal, games, a Turkey bowl, and movies the day was complete. It was another huge Thanksgiving and I am so grateful for so many things but especially Ethan, Kelsey, my health, and the home that we together are creating.
