A True Fall

Fall this year was perfect. I would say all of September and most of October has beautiful weather and sunshine. I was just so nervous that fall would be a rainy mess like last year but it just wasn't. As I am writing this on November 3rd, it is currently snowing, but October and September were seriously magical. I can see why people get "trapped" into living here. Summer and fall (when it happens) just are perfect and can't be beat. It was fun to send Kelsey to school in the picturesque, movie like setting, for back to school.

We hiked the pretzel hike which was .4 of a mile and on our second loop we heard a bear or something in the woods so we bee lined it for the car.

Unfortunately, fall also brought the moving of the Sienellis to Germany. It was a very sad parting for all girls. They are some amazing friends and we hope they have the best time.

We were cool enough to go to the fair complete with an elephant ear and everything. We got some free tickets from this nice man and tried to ride the swings, but at the last second Kelsey FREAKED out and started crying so hard, clawing her way out that they wouldn't start the ride until she got off. It was kind of a bummer because I think she would have loved them.

Oh hey 7 months!
Most days after school were spent sitting at the park or sitting in the back just soaking in sunshine. It is our happy place. We just like each other so much more when the weather is good
Ethan had a business trip to Utah for a few days and apparently part of the trip including a shooting range. Not really his thing, but I think he had a good time
