Frozen Pipe

So I totally forget to share this eventful day!!! While over Thanksgiving, our outside pipe froze because we forgot to cover it and take the hose off. My bad. It was just a slow constant leak nothing big. Well after the week break we decided that it was time to fix it. That night I turned the hose and the leaking stopped!!! It was a miracle... we thought. About an hour later we go outside to check, and the leaking has started again. We decided to just leave it till morning since it had been fine all break. In the morning, Saturday, at about 8 am, I wake up to my name being yelled to me!!! I think the house is burning down, Ethan has died or we have won a million dollars. I run to the screaming and Ethan is standing the middle of this.....

So my wonderful husband tried to tighten the pipe (before we knew it was cracked) and accidentally made it worse resulting in the fountain that you see. Just as a reminder, it was about 35 degrees outside. We had to turn the water off and then spent the rest of the day fixing the pipe. I love my handy man. He will try anything!!
