Ethan

So Ethan and I were really excited to start our blog, Ethan maybe more so than me and today Ethan brought to my attention that the blog so far is everything that I do to keep myself busy while he is doing homework or working or grading papers. So here you go Ethan. This blog is for you!!!

I go to school, but because I am in my last semester all my classes are focused on learning how to teach. I go to a lot of schools to observe but outside of that (and my family finance class) I don't really have a lot of homework. Ethan on the other hand IS ALWAYS BUSY!!! He helps the young men, researches with 3 professors off and on and is a TA for an American History class at school. He does his homework, grades tests, plays on a soccer and football team, is applying for school after undergrad and still makes time for me!! He is a very busy man.

(this was attempt number three when trying to do his reading!)

Andrea's Birthday

So it was my little sisters birthday and we all got together to have cake and dinner. It was pretty typical except I made a pumpkin shaped cake!! I am really really excited about it because despite all the mess ups it turned out great and you can't even tell that the whole back of the cake is missing!!

Decorations

Being the college students that we are, I felt guilty for buying any Halloween decorations this year, BUT I also felt guilty for going a whole holiday without decorating the house. I decided that a witch for the door from the dollar store and a sign that says BOO found on clearance at Khol's would be good enough, but after about a week I needed more so I made Mod Podge pumpkin Jars.
I used a pickle jar, a jam par, and a canning jar. I LOVE THEM!!!! and they look so cute with all the lights out!!

Halloween Time

So Ethan and I decided that it was time to start a blog. After about two hours of trying to start it, we realized that we didn't really have any good material to put up worth anyone's time.

Well that inspired our Friday night date. We decided to make dinner, carve pumpkins, and watch a scary movie. It was so much fun and our pumpkins are so cute.

(the lids were really hard to get off once we carved them!!)
