Easter

Easter was super simple but really fun at our house. On Wednesday, MBASA put together an Easter egg hunt and we spent all our time iat the park with Ralphie obviously.

On Friday we died Easter eggs and then on Saturday the real fun began.

Dying Easter eggs was like the best thing we have ever done with Kelsey. She was totally into it. We got some glitter eggs and she loved putting the glitter on after. But lets be honest she didn't even need the glitter. She colored and recolored the eggs so many times. It was a lot of fun.

We went up to Gramma Wings house and had a fabulous Easter egg hunt. I had to much fun and was so impressed with Diana's organization. She put toys in the eggs instead of candy, some of the eggs had tickets inside of them for bigger toys that were not egg sized, and then she color coded everyones eggs so it was completely fair. GENIUS! Kelsey had pink, Harper purple, and Holden basketball eggs.  It was such a wonderful weekend.

This year Easter and Conference shared the same weekend so there was a lot of this going on...

but there were also some really cute girls

Sunday morning we exchanged Easter baskets and like everything else that involved candy, it was a major hit.

Basically what I am trying to say is that it was a great weekend with lots of great food and even better company.

The only tragedy was that Kelsey fell down our stairs on the way to car right before we left for Bountiful. It actually was really bad and so sad to watch. She got her foot stuck in the rail and then hit two stairs with her face :( I almost cried. We were totally blessed thought because for as bad as it was we didn't need stitches and totally could have. Poor Smooch

Kelsey and Ralphie

This post is dedicated to our dear friends the Johnsons. We meet them in Holladay, they moved into Phylden after us, we both have been married for the same time, our kids are almost twins in age,  and we both went to BYU for our MBAs. Right now as we head to Phoenix and they head to Texas, our story has to take a pause but if the stars align hopefully we will be able to live close to each other again some day. The good thing about the Johnsons is that they are the type of friends that we will forever be in touch with. They are friends that when we are old and the kids are grown and gone, we will vacation with. They will always mean so much to us. Its impossible to describe what they mean to us and it is even more impossible to describable how much we are going to miss them. Its not very often that you find such amazing couple friends.

If Elisa and I could have our way, Ralphie and Kelsey will be married someday. Until then we just soak up all the cuteness of their friendship that we can. All jokes aside, I really do love their friendship and will really miss having Ralphie around. I just love him so much.

They really are the cutest of friends.
