Baby Wing

Like we thought, this baby is not coming "one time" and especially not early. We are not worried and know that people go over ALL the time ESPECIALLY in my family, but it is still a bummer to know that we are part of the inducement group.
Now before I jump the gun and make everyone think I am getting induced, Ill update you on my doctors appointment today. As a reminder I am due the 29th which is next Tuesday. Today my doctore gave me a one because she is nice and didnt want to make me too sad :) She asked if I wanted my membrane stripped and I said sure. We proceeded and then she stopped because my uterus is still too posterior to even reach. Basically Im not ready and the baby is taking its sweet time. Again we are not worried just bummed because we are so excited for the baby to come. Also everyone always asks about because they are so excited, but it is just the little constant reminders over and over that we do not have the baby yet.
Any way, my doctor set me up for a normal "check up" for next Thursday the 31st of May. If nothing has happened (which it wont) I go in June 5th and talk about an inducement date. Meaning on June 5th I do not get induced but talk about when I will get induced. Basically we are looking at this baby coming June5th- June 9th depending on lots of thingsI have had absolutely no contractions, no tightening, no aches, no cramps.
So thats that. We are so excited for her to come and can't wait, but we are going to have to. The hardest part now is proceeding life in a normal fashion. I always knew she would be late, I guessed her arrival June 5th, but in my heart I always hoped she would be early or at least "on time." I guess you never know. I still have two weeks until June 5th so maybe next appointment she will be able to strip the membrane. You never know!

New Addition

Its no adorable baby yet, BUT the Wings are pleased to announce that they are a now 2.5 car family. It was time to get a 4 door car in prepartion for the baby. Its a 2005 Toyota Camry with 80,000. We are so excited and grateful for this new car. The car seat is installed and ready to go.

We also found out that our family members are VERY talented at turning baby items into cakes!

ALSO... Ethan surprised me for mothers day which was a TOTAL surprise because we have no baby yet, but he was sweet and said that it was close enough and since I never get to put the baby down, he wanted to get me these... I did not protest :)
He just keeps proving that he is teh best!

Oh and here I am at 38 weeks
And here I am at 39 (almost) weeks

Tired Boy

Ethan works so hard all day long, stays up late at nights, and gets up early in the morning to play basketball. Sometimes at night he just can't stay awake :) We were talking, I brushed my teeth, and came back to this...

Oh also I missed Subway so much that I made these and they rocked enough to get me to July!! Don't ever sell the store Dad. You have no idea how much we all look forward to coming to Spokane
And here's the outside of our house... The apartment with the wreath is our lovely #A. The other door leads to the basement apartment underneath our apartment.

April 25th

One night while we were getting ready for bed Ethan was like "I wonder what I looked like exactly one year from this moment?" He then suggested that we pick a random day and take a picture every year on that same day no matter where we are, what we are doing, or what we look like. Yesterday was the day.. so every year on April 25th we will take a picture of ourselves. Here's what we look like this year April 25th 2012 in Holladay Utah!! We just finished dinner and were getting ready to go to Visconti House
Hopefully I won't always look like I am storing food in my belly and checks... but I do this year!! ONE MORE MONTH

One Year

Across the street from where we live there is a little family owned  Italian restaurant called the Visconti House and ever since we moved in we have been saying that we wanted to go. When we made our New Years Resolutions, one of them was to go to the Visconti House and last night we did!!! It was a cute little place and the Gelato was incredible!! So we decided to just get dessert there and on the menu there were three options: Cheesecake, Gelato, or Tiramisu. We wanted to be bold and try something new and had both heard of tiramisu but had no idea as to what it was. We ordered that and the waitress immediately was like "No.. I can't give you that.." We thought it was weird but didn't really care and just ordered the gelato and cheesecake instead. While we were waiting the chef came out and was like "Sorry I can't serve you tiramisu. It is made with alcohol and coffee and I noticed that she was pregnant." We started laughing so hard because pregnant aside, we do not drink alcohol or coffee and what a shock that dessert would have been to us. I'm sure that it bakes out to a degree and we would have been just fine, but it still was a good laugh and a great memory.

We also picked to go last night because it was the one year anniversary for Ethan has a working man!! We can not believe how fast the time has gone, but we have been at Overstock for one full year now and my what a year we have had. We have graduated from college, moved to Holladay, went to Spokane and Phoenix, Ethan visited Chicago and New York, have watched tons of family move to Utah, welcomed the arrival of a nephew and a niece, are expecting a baby of our own in ONE MONTH!!!, I was able to run a half marathon, welcomed in a new brother in law, and partied like it was 1999!! Overstock has been a great blessing in our lives. It was definitely a change of OUR plans but isn't funny how that always happens and always works out for the best!! We are so excited for this next year, but only have great memories of this past year.

Cutest Husband in the world

(Look at those cute toenails and chubby feet!!! I LOVE IT)
I was painting my toes on Saturday, and because it is a little harder to reach them I had to come up every stroke of the brush to catch my breathe. Ethan was watching a game and watching me do this and with out any prompting from me he asked " Do you want me to paint your toes?" I almost cried because he is so sweet. I am so grateful to be married to such a thoughtful person AND did not know he was a closet toe nail painter!!!

Update!!

All my sisters were updating their blogs and so I felt the needed pressure to get on and do the same!
The past month has been the same, but there have been some good times in the Wing home. Ethan went to Chicago for a Overstock thing, and had so much fun. It was sad having him gone so long especially because his phone died and so he could talk to me but I could not talk to him. It got really old, really fast. One night we got clever and he called me and I g-chated him back with my replies. Needless to say, it was nice to be in the same state again.
We felt very adult like because we finished our taxes and as soon as we fit submit, Ethan found a W2 that we forgot to add. Whoops!! So we felt really adult like when we went through the whole amend process or whatever it is called. (we figured it out and all is good tax wise here)
March brought endless basketball which I actually like almost as much as Ethan. We did a joint bracket and ended up getting 12th over all which was the best I have ever done. I think it was the worst Ethan has ever done, but he was nice enough to stay with me :) We had UNC winning and they lost second round!!!
As far as baby goes, I am getting huge and can not bend comfortably so I guess all is well in that regards!! I was able to run until 32 weeks and then it hit me like a wall that I should stop so now I just walk as long and as hard as I can. I also have been able to teach the ward aerobics classes which was AWESOME!!! I miss teaching so much and I think all the ladies had a good time too.
We also, just last night, purchased a stroller!!! I am so so so excited because it is starting to feel real. We can officially say NEXT MONTH (but I believe that I will deliver in June but still NEXT MONTH).
Things are all good in this hood. We are happy and almost healthy aside from a few minor injuries to Ethan due to basketball. I am still working as a nanny and am so grateful for the money, but I am really wanting to have my own baby to watch now. Subbing has been infrequent this month because of all the Spring Breaks, but I still get several calls which is nice. Ethan loves his job and has almost been there a YEAR!! That just blows our mind because we have both only ever had jobs that were at BYU semesters or summer positions, so we feel really adult like.

Ethan in Chicago!!!

7 months!!!!
