Treyvon Lewis.. My side

While Scott and Karolyn were at the hospital, I got to babysit Skyler and Carson. We had a lot of fun and I just wanted to share some of the funny moments.
I got there on Monday and we mostly just watched the Cosmo movie over and over, waiting for mom and dad to call. It was really cute because both the boys were really snuggley, which if you know Skyler and Carson is NOT normal, and I asked Skyler why and he said "I am just so worried for my mom." So cute!!
Scott called around 3 and asked to speak to Skyler. Now before I tell you the rest, Skyler really really really really REALLY wanted a baby sister. He told me that whole morning, that if it wasn't a girl, he wanted to sell the baby. So Scott calls, asks to speak to Skyler and Skyler just listens. As we all know the baby was a boy and not a girl. Skyler hands me the phone and then bursts into tears! I don't just mean upset, I mean tears! It was so cute in a sad way. The only way I got him to put on his big brother shirt and shoes, was reminding him that now he has another player for the family football team. He got excited and said, "oh yeah, girls can't play football." Okay so while this was happening, Carson also needed to get his big brother shirt on. I asked him if he wanted to go to the hospital to see mom and he got really excited. When I said we need to change your clothes, he too burst into tears. I mean streams of tears. Needless to say, the walk to the car, and the walk to the hospital from the car looked pretty hilarious.

A few other funny moments included when a grandma cut us off on the way to lunch and so I honked. Skyler thought that was the meanest thing in the world because "she was just a grandma and you could have scared her"
I was working on a puzzle and Carson wanted to help, but I told him that he could just watch because "no touch Cami's puzzles" Next thing I know, he has pushed up a chair to the table, gotten his puzzles from upstairs, dumped them out and then said "Cami no touch Carson's puzzles" It was so cute. We worked on our puzzles for like an hour and he reminded me at least 4 times that Carson no touch Cami's puzzles and Cami no touch Carson's puzzles. They were so fun to be around and so cute.

Ps They eventually loved to go see their baby brother

Threes a Crowd....

May 29th!!!!! I hope this little girl is ready for all the love shes about to receive!!! Mom and Dad can't wait for her to come and are so excited to start their new lives!! Can't wait!!!!! Still a little in shock, but so ready to hold her!!
I feel so lucky too because I have not gotten sick like at all. I am still able to run every day, eat whatever, and consider myself very very lucky. We have had two ultrasounds, and one heart beat hearing and everything is looking good for both mom and baby so far and pray every day that it stays that way. Ethan and I can't believe that its a girl, but are thrilled. We really really really didn't care either way... we just wanted a baby!! YAY!!!!!!!!!

Holidays 2011

Christmas was great, and New Years was wonderful. We were with the Wings this season and celebrated hard. We ate good food, watched good movies, and played tons of games. It was great to see so many family members and friends. For New Years we celebrated with Scott and Karolyn and blew up fireworks at midnight. It was especially fun because Ethan ended up getting the whole week off and so we were able to have a nice relaxing holiday.
We also celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary and went to Moochies sub shop in Salt Lake. For our anniversary, we love to go to new places and try new food to us. It was DELICIOUS and I know my subs!!!

So Ethan was in this Jimmer movie! Best Christmas present ever!

Cookie Day at Emily's

24

I love my birthday and this year so no exception!! Ethan brought me breakfast in bed, we got to hear the heart beat of the baby, I got to talk to my friends and family, I had a surprise lunch by my sister in law and nephews, went to Red Robin and walked around temple square, and then got to have cheese cake!! Needless to say, it was a great day!!! We also got to get together with friends and make gingerbread houses the day before and I finished our stockings, which only took 3 years to imagine, 5 movies to cut, lay out, and glue, and only one burn. It was a great week!!! I just don't feel like posting a long post. here are pictures!

I Caught a Shirt

Before I begin this blog, there are a few important details that one should know.
1) I love BYU sports, especially basketball and football, in that order.
2) I attended BYU as a student for 5 years
3) Every sporting event, the cheerleaders throw t-shirts, candy, balls, etc into the crowd causing a massive mosh pit of students jumping, pushing, clawing, and elbowing to get the 5 dollar item that was thrown in the crowd. It is not about the prize, everyone could care less about the prize, it is about the feeling of knowing that of all the students in that mosh pit, you are the one that got the prize.
4) In my 5 years as a student I have attended 90 basketball games, 40 football games, 10 soccer games, and 20 volleyball games. That is a totally of 160 BYU events not including the other times that BYU threw a shirt into a crowd randomly on campus or at a show. PS when I say attend, I don't just mean, I went, I mean I stood in line, slept on pavement, woke up at 4 to get tickets, pushed people out of seats, and did some other things that may or may not be 100% honest, but were 100% necessary to express my BYU love.
5) My roommates and I decided freshman year that they only way we could graduate was if we won an intramural t-shirt (which I did in cross country) and caught a shirt at ONE of the 160 events that we attended (which I didn't).

Last night I went to the BYU Weber game with my little sister. Thanks to her I had a seat on the 8th row (which is about where I normally sat ps) Thanks to Hannah I had a ticket into the game, and thanks to the girl in front of me who was about 4'10, last night after 5 years of waiting, after 160 games, after hours and hours and hours waiting in line, after watching my neighbors catch the shirt, after shirts and balls bouncing off my face because I was looking the other direction (yes that happened 2 times), after having my husband put his hands in mine as the shirt landed in them so he would catch it instead of me to be funny (NOT FUNNY ALL 3 TIMES!!!!) I Cami Wing, with child, FINALLY HAVE MY OWN SHIRT!!!!

Did I scream at the top of my lungs? Yes. Did I maybe shed a tear? Of course! Did I call all my old roommates immediately? You bet! Did I explain to everyone around me the importance of this moment and literally say to them "You are so lucky to be witnessing this right now!" Oh most definitely. Will I save the shirt for the rest of my life and put it in a quilt someday? Certainly! But more importantly did I go home with my own shirt and now can finally feel like my 5 years of school meant something? ABSOLUTELY!!!!

This is not drama... this is passion

Thanksgiving

Too much great food, great company, football, resting, and then a movie at Uncle Doug's. Overall I'd say a great Thanksgiving Day.

Turkey Bowl

Thanksgiving was spectacular!!! We had a wonderful meal and our turkey turned out AMAZING!!! After the dinner, the dishes, and some resting time, we had a mini turkey bowl of our own. Nelsons vs Wings. Thanks to Karolyn we have some great pictures of the great event. PS The Nelsons won, as Skyler reminded us several times :)
