Brother

So my brother works at Big 5...

he's sorta a big deal!!

UPDATE!!!!

I just found some pictures that I thought would be cool to put on the blog!!. We are doing awesome. I am student teaching at Timpview High School and love it. I am the minority in all of my classes and so that is a really weird adjustment. I love most of my students but get really sick of the ones that decide when they can and can't speak English, meaning they can't understand me when it is time to run of do anything physical and then when we are talking outside of class they speak very good English. Whatever!!!
Ethan is finally done with applications and now we just sit and wait. We are really excited to get accepted somewhere but are really sad to be leaving Provo. We LOVE our house, we LOVE our ward, we LOVE being around family and friends, we LOVE BYU, and we LOVE the cost of living in Utah compared to the rest of the planet. We will keep you posted.

Other than that we are going to BYU basketball games, attending Young Men meetings, and I am trying to find things to do in my spare time while Ethan is gone and I have no homework. Any suggestions.
Hope you enjoy these random pics oh and PS Ethan got new medicine and is finally getting better. HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!Holden thought everything was just too hilarious to smile at the camera. If he weren't so cute we would get upset, but he has us wrapped around his finger!!
Cookie day at the Wings... definatly top 5 favorite days of break!!!

Holden rarely lets Ethan touch him, let a lone sit with him. Luckily the Wiggles work as a powerful bribe!!Pre sick days run!! We ALWAYS wear the same outfit :)
Mom and Dad had to arm wrestle in this game called Dice-Ca-Pades. It was hilarious because they both had bum shoulders at the time so it was pretty evenly matched. I think my mom won because her shoulder was less bum at the time. It was the slowest race I have ever witness due to the constant laughter by the spectators and the participants!!!
Same game, but this time Dad had to do 25 sits up. He did it, but lets just say he is not in the same shape as he was in the military!!!

This is an ornament that I made for my mother in law and my mom for Christmas. I was so proud of how it turned out. I was trying so hard to be like my older sisters because they are the craftiest people I know!!!

Sick

Ethan has been sick for the past 3 weeks. We are both getting so tired of it. He has gone to the doctor twice and they told him that he just had a really bad flu. I don't know about you but I have never heard of a flu that gave you a stuffy nose, sore throat, back pain, headache, itchy eyes, dizziness, achy joints, and that made you sleep about 12 hours every night with naps during the day. Definitely not the common flu. He luckily has had his appetite for the past two weeks but today all of a sudden he just couldn't eat anything. He still ate, but didn't eat very much and didn't enjoy it. WHATS WRONG!!!!!

Birthday Season

I love the Christmas season. I love it for obvious reasons but I also love it because my birthday always kicks it off. This year I had to take two final on my actual birthday but my adorable husband surprised me with a beautiful dinner and a gingerbread making party with all my girl friends. On Thursday when finals were over for both of us, we went to dinner and the MoTab performance with David Archuleta!!! IT WAS AMAZING!! I was on the fence about David before but I am a total fan now. His voice is amazing and so clear. It was incredible. The following day we had another gingerbread making party with family and watched Christmas movies and it has been nonstop parties ever since. It has been an awesome Christmas season so far and it is not even Christmas yet!!

What happens when you don't do any homework over Thanksgiving break?

Sunday night study sessions until 2:30 Am
(picture not taken at 2:30 because I went to bed)

Apple Pie

Over Thanksgiving I was able to make an apple pie for the family and well it didn't exactly turn out the way I wanted it to. Ethan made the filling and that was great. The pie crust itself tasted good but it looked terrible!!! I don't think that I put in enough apples because the apples were about 2 inches away from the top so when we went to cut the pie the whole top compeletly fell. I don't know what went wrong, but something went wrong. At least it tasted good. I forgot to take a picture so here is the beginning stages when I was happy to be doing it.

Oh Christmas Tree

OUR FIRST CHRISTMAS TREE!!!!!!!!
Now all we need is snow!
